Mohamed MCHIRI is a tenure-track assistant professor at the University of Gabes, Tunis, Tunisia He received the Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Tunis El Manar, Tunis, Tunisia, in 2005. He obtained the master’s degree in Automatic Control and Signal Processing and the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Tunis El Manar, Tunis, Tunisia, in 2006 and 2012, respectively. He was an Assistant Professor at the University of Carthage, Tunis, Tunisia, from 2006 to 2012, and a first technical trainer at the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation TVTC of Saudi Arabia, from 2013 to 2023. Since 2023,
MCHIRI has been with the Research Laboratory of Numerical Control of Industrial Processes (CONPRI) at the University of Gabes, Tunisia. His research interests include nonlinear control systems, chaotic systems, power system stability and control, neural networks, nonlinear observers, sliding mode and adaptive control of dynamical systems, renewable energy, mems.
