Kamel
Abderrahim received the Eng. degree in
electrical engineering from the National School of Engineers of Gabes (ENIG,
Tunisia) in 1992, and the Master degree in automatic control from Higher School
of Sciences and Techniques of Tunis (ESSTT, Tunisia) in 1995, and the PhD
degree in electrical engineering from National School of Engineers of Tunis
(ENIT, Tunisia) in 2000, and the University Habilitation in electrical
engineering from the University of Gabes (Tunisia) in 2009. Since 1993, he has
been with the Department of Electrical Engineering, National School of
Engineers of Gabes, University of Gabes (Tunisia), where he is currently a
Professor. Since 1995, he has been with
the Research Laboratory of Numerical Control of Industrial Processes (LACONPRI)
at the National School of Engineers of Gabes, University of Gabes. His current
research interests include modeling, identification, observation and control of
dynamical systems and more particularly delay systems, hybrid systems and
nonlinear systems. He has authored or coauthored over 120 technical papers.
From 2002 to 2005, he was the director of the Electrical Engineering Department
at the ENIG. And from 2005 to 2011, he was the director of Higher Institute of
Industrial Systems (ISSIG, Tunisia). In 2017, he was elected President of the
University of Gabes (Tunisia).
